Why This Space Exists

This space was created for people navigating life’s most demanding seasons—when the mental load feels heavy and support feels thin.

I’m a provisionally licensed mental health clinician and a new mother. Professionally, I’ve spent years supporting others through emotional overwhelm. Personally, postpartum showed me how hard it can be to hold everything while feeling like there’s no place to set it down.

Meet The Creator

Hi, I’m Johnee Lewis, a mental health professional and the creator of Perfectlei Flawed. I became a mom in 2024, and that experience — alongside my professional background and feedback from other mothers — helped shape the tools and resources you’ll find here. Perfectlei Flawed was created to offer practical, compassionate support for everyday life, especially during overwhelming seasons. These resources are educational and designed to complement, not replace, professional mental health care.”

The Space In Between

I created these tools because I saw a gap between getting through the day and having ways to support yourself in between moments of care. Therapy is invaluable, and progress often happens through the small, everyday practices that support what’s explored in session.

These tools are designed to gently support the in-between moments—offering structure for reflection, organization, and emotional awareness in a way that feels practical and realistic for everyday life.

What Tools Are (And Aren’t )

These are self-guided, educational mental health tools created to support the moments between care—when reflection, organization, and emotional awareness can make daily life feel more manageable.

They are not therapy and are not intended to replace professional mental health or medical care. Instead, they are designed to complement support by offering gentle structure and guidance outside of appointments.

If you’re experiencing a mental health crisis or need immediate support, reaching out to a licensed provider or local emergency services is always the right next step.

This space is also being shaped with clinicians in mind. Future offerings will include therapist-created tools and resources designed to support clinical work and client care.

A Note For Clinicians

Clinician-focused resources are coming soon.

This work is grounded in the belief that support should feel accessible, compassionate, and respectful of where someone is in their journey.

What Guides This Work

You don’t need to do everything at once. Support can happen in small, meaningful moments.
These tools are here to walk alongside you—not replace the care you may already have.
